The Cliche Love Story Everyone Hates, But Wishes They Could Really Have

Since no one reads this blog, no one ever has, and the only person that still keeps their blog updated is Liz, I feel pretty confident that this post won't cause some ripple effect on my life. Blogging has almost died, but writing is still a way to pretend this is how you wish you could sound, and even right now I don't know how I want everyone to see me. Either way, I need to write right now; this instant and no later. So last year (7th), I was still in the shock of 6th grade, and needed to wake up from being a little kid and really look at my life. So there's this guy, and it turns out this is going to be the cliche love story everyone hates, but wishes they could really have. Or at least what I wished, I can't make conclusions for the whole world. That's why I hate geometry so much. There's so many factors and what-ifs that can make a conditional false. Anyways, his name is Austin, and he sat across from me in LA, and ended up in my math class too. He moved here in 6th grade from New Jersey (???), and I had never seen him before. Not in the halls, in my classes, or even his heard his name or voice or heard it on announcements. It ends up that I fall for him.....hard. Like the kind where almost everything that happens somehow brings you to think of him. We used to just sit across from each other LA, and have those awkward "I've been staring at you moments" when the other person looks up from the table side. The only thing to do was to smile and forget it happened. It kinda went back in forth, from me going out of my way to get noticed, to just sitting there thinking how stupid I was to think this great a person might actually like me as much I as had thought I loved him. Here comes rumors that whisper "Hayley you know Austin likes you?" I really didn't know what to think, because I how could some like me, that straight A pony tail blonde girl from gifted and talented language arts? Either way I just ignored it, thinking it to good to be true. But rumors didn't start until about February, and I fell back in November. Maybe those very silent glances and complete lack of communication had somehow made him realized I loved him. But my life went on, and I still had friends and did the other things I loved, just without him. April came, and so did track; and would you guess, Austin joined the team. Now there was a reason to stop him in the halls to ask if we had practice, or if the next meet was in Thorton or York. And we might've have been the only two to not play with the forgotten tennis balls in the parking lot, but would rather just talk. So this went on, but advanced to talking in other classes about anything that was floating around the air, in the school, or just between us. And now there's posters for the black and white dance around school, next week to be exact. Everyone's excited, and makes secret plans to wear florecents and neons, and the less adventures wore colored socks. Either way I wanted to go, even if just to go with friends, like I had for the five dances before that. Here comes May, and the second Friday of the month, the dance friday everyone had been waiting for. So 7:30 came around, then it was 8:30, then it was 9:25. The DJ says last dance, and Stairway to Heaven, the longest and slowest song that any Middle School to think to torture there students with, came on with the hope of creating some social fireworks tonight. Everyone that had been going out before tonight, were already close enought that they were already asking each other, but those not so lucky were trying to make their way across the dance floor to ask one person if they wanted to stand out a little bit more that night. Who would you guess came over to me? No, it wasn't my friend to suggest and laugh that even though she and I were alone, we should just talk and think about all the others that had set themselves aside to be looked at in that sort of specticle, it happened to be the only person I had liked that whole year. He just sort of looked at me and smiled, but still closed the last few steps between us and asked. "Hey Hayley do you want you dance?" More like a best friend asking, but it was asking all the same. I didn't even say anything, I just sort of smiled and nodded, and put my hands around his neck. He was nervous, I could tell that much, and when he didn't know how to even hold my waist and slow dance, his whole face was red. But I didn't mind, not at all. And when he said I had really pretty eyes, probably one of the most innocent things you can say to a person, I thought I couldn't possibly blush any more. But that song and night ended, and that was that. So for the next 2 or 3 months, I was actually afraid of talking to him. I didn't want to have to say anything that might make him think I was stupid or anything like that. He thinks I'm so great now, what if I completely ruin it with just one sentance? So I was nervous, shaking, and quiet for the rest of May, and the a little bit of June (say a few days). This was exactly like I was in all of March, afraid that the rumors might be true, so I fixed all my thoughts on the musical which had conviently started in the month of March. Either way, I had fallen so hard I didn't think I could ever get out of it. So when year book signing came around, "Austin, you're an amazing friend, hope to see you over the summer! -Hayley" which happened the same time as "Sorry I didn't ask you out, my parents wouldn't let me. I really like you and I hope you feel the same way. Have a great summer! - Austin". .....I felt like a love sick douche. Either way, summer came and I had no way of seeing him, so I tried to get over him one way or another (which failed miserably). September rolled around, and school started again. For the first 2 weeks of school, was probably the shallowest weeks of my life. It was all summer gossip, and bitching about poeple that pretended to be best friends. The same questions came up again too. "Do you still like him?" "I think he might like you, do you want me to ask?" I knew I still liked him, but I hadn't talked to him, and still didn't see him those 2 weeks, but I told everyone 'I didn't really like him but maybe a little bit.' Week number 3 comes, and we start to talk all over again, like the summer never happened at all. Wednesday October 14th, cross country meet, we started going out. He had called me that Monday, left a message and a question about a movie. "So are we going out?" "Yeah, I think we are." "Okay, good luck in your race." Word for word.... But now I love him all over again. Friday November 6th, field trip bus, we kissed. I'm pretty sure he counted, and it was 8 times. So now I still love him even more than 7th grade, or even October 14th. We call each other almost everyday, and today alone we talked for 4 1/2 hours. I love Austin so much.

There goes 7th grade

School is finally almost over

Thank the f***ing stars it is

Either way, this Summer might just be the best fo far

Last year, I was an anti-social shut-in person that occasionaly came out for sun

I came into 7th grade, barely knowing who my friends were, and what kind of person I would turn out to be

Well, I definatly learned who my friends are, and I'm pretty sure I know that I still have no idea where the hell 8th grade is going to take me

I'm thinking about starting a Summer vlog; idea of Liz way back during Sleepy Hollow rehearsles

Maybe I will

It'll just turn out to be a once a month kind of thing, like this blog was in the middle of 7th grade

But I won't really have a whole lot to blog/possibly vlog about this Summer

Besides track

Maybe I might start getting good at running

But it's going to be hard to run in glasses

Yep, I'm getting glasses

And in other news

Charlie the Whale is now gay thanks to an ever so anymous (HARRY) person in my LA class

Charlie the Whale, is a mythical creature that stops invading UFO's and such of the alien type

But that every so anymous person made him stop his mission and go to the hot dog vender Meggie

It's all down hill from there.....

Poor Charlie

Oh! and I've rediscovered my love of random movies that are found when you think of a word in the Netflix search bar, and watch that movie

fun

Watch me waste my entire Summer watching movies that no one's heard of

:]

There really is no Bonnie after all

Mrs. Foley has decided to have a project that has absolutely nothing to do with what we've been learning

Poetry
Treasure Island
Poetry
Sonnets
Analyzing poetry
ect.

And this new project is so much better

It's accents

Not accents like in music that make things louder and softer

But accents like how you talk

So we have to pick one

Then write a script with other people that have completely different accents.

I'm working with my partners from the past movie

part one:

enjoy!

So I've decided to do a New York accent, under the name of Jaclyn Vittoni
Shaelan is doing a Northern Irish accent, under the name of Nola
Liz is doing either a French/Russian/British accent, under the name of Claire
(she's the maître’d)

Here's part of the script

Shaelan: Claire, my old friend! How’ve you been? Have you been savin’ me a seat tonight? It’s bloody near freezin’ outside.

(Hayley peeks over shoulder looking for a name on list)

Liz: We always have seat for you, Nola. A seat with a view?

Shaelan: Certainly. Right by the window the way I like it. I’d have no other place, no other place for Nola. If I--

Liz: Alright. Right this way.

Hayley: Hold on one minute! How come little miss Bonnie over there gets to go in? She don’t have a reservation.

Shaelan: Bonnie’s here too? Well, then sit her down by me.

Basically I'm this New Yorker that tries to get into a restaurant, without a reservation. I go off ranting a little bit, and Liz is the stern little maître’d that won't give me a seat.

Then Shaelan shows up as daft little Nola the regular customer. She instantly gets a seat, which makes me as the New Yorker mad.

After I leave, turns out I did have a reservation, and Liz stares in disbelief

And it's actually a lot more funny than it sounds

So now I'm in French, and I've already finished a project due tomorrow

Making it quite boring in here

I'll be fine when I go to track after school today

I remembered a water bottle for the first time ever

So it looks like it might be a pretty good day after all

Rambling and possible scarring

Helllllo out there

It's taken 3 whole weeks, but I finally feel like myself again

Anyone else notice?

That I'm not all quite and nervous any more?

I don't even know why that happened

I'd have to think back 3 weeks ago to what happened

I can think of something it might have been, but that's that

Well, I bought songs on iTunes today, and that's always a good sign

I haven't blogged in awhile

and this is really starting to ramble

I'm thinking about starting a vlog

Which is basically a video blog

I have to do a New York accent for LA

The only problem is that Colby's doing one too

So mine's gonna suck compared to hers

Because everyone knows that a Bronx accent beats Brooklyn

School's almost out

Summer's almost here

And I'm going to miss everyone, because at school I see hem everyday

I'd be lucky if I saw one every 2 or 3 days

I've decided on what I plan to do with my life

Turn 18, and move to New York

Buy abandoned laboratory

Recreate the Bubonic Plague in Europe

Then join the FBI and become a professional stalker

After, become a successful horror movie director

Then produce a wash-out comedy series

Sometime in my 60's admit that I started the Plague

Go to jail

Escape

Rejoin the FBI

Die in late 90's

It's taken much thought, but that's what I think I'm supposed to do in life

Probably not going to happen for awhile though

Or at all maybe

So yeah

I can get a job next year, so that'll be fun

I really want to work at somewhere that I can just walk to

Because my bike doesn't work very well, walking if fun, and I can't drive legally yet

Wow this is beyond rambling

I watched season 1 of House today

That's just great

I'm ending this blog before the whole site severely scarred as a rambling site

What happened that week 3 weeks ago:

Hell/tech week for the play, Japan night, track meet, dance

Eu sou uma pessoa doente

I just beat my record of 8 sneezes in a row

And my brother just yelled at me for sneezing to loud

The only upside to be an abductee to an illness,

Is that everyone expects nothing of you right now,

And you have the quiet to think about things

And there is most definitely things to think about

:]

So I've been thinking about things, and reading Treasure Island for most of the day

But I did get up and go that play whose name is escaping me for the moment

It's the one about May at the church that was done by the Merry Makers Chorus

It was OK, but I thought it was going to be more of a play than a concert

Made a few enemies though

Just about everyone that was in a 2 foot radius of me

I was sneezing like hell

And the fact i didn't have tissues made it even more enjoyable, because they all were staring at me, and it was a tad awkward

I'll probably still go to school though

And I'll probably go watch a movie now

(Dark Knight maybe, it looked pretty good)

******

Grease is over

:/

Everyone complained about it, but only because that was what everyone else was doing

But everyone really enjoyed it

3rd : 1st : 2nd
Best : 2nd best : Worst
:] : :/ : >:[

The 3rd one was the best, no doubt

The problem is everyone went to the 2nd show because it was Friday

2nd show - microphone broke, Mrs. D cursed us, we were nervous, but had the most fun, and took pictures
3rd show - Mrs. M wore BENVOLIO THE LUCKIEST BRACELET EVER, had the cast party, mostly old people went that were there during the 50's, everyone remembered all lines, took pictures, and Miley and I did the BEST Beauty School Drop
Out; like we planned
1st show - opening night, just came from track meet, nervous in good way, did alright for the dancing, almost tripped in Beauty School drop out and couldn't stop laughing at Ben

I got second in the 100 meter sprint at the track meet btw, only by .1 of a second

But I'm going to go think some more about somethings and everything, probably check my email at least 7 times today, watch a movie, sneeze, send some pictures with captions, listen to music, sleep a little, finish my Treasure Island report, than probably eat some food in between these activities

:]

Not drugs

For those who've noticed that I've been well....

Normal might be the word?

Quiet

Depressed-ish

Nervous in the words of Shelby

Well I'm not sure why I wasn't like, normal for me

Cuz normal for me is basically spontanious and high

Not high, high

But close

Not high on drugs

But on life I guess

Well, I ate cookies and chocolate for lunch, and I feel much better

I think I was just sleep-deprived

I stayed up reading Treasure Island till 3:00 A.M.

So I got 3 hours of sleep, and Monday nights just suck for me

I feel normal again

:]

Oh! and I'm not sure why we're not, maybe I'll ask

Guys and Sonnets

Well, I supposes most of you know who I like after the dance, and I'm ok with that

Cuz I really do like him

But I don't know if he feels exactly the same as I do

Than again, he asked me, and that makes me hope that maybe he does

Moving on...

So I'm writing a sonnet for LA

What I have so far:

when everyone is so absorbed in life,
no one stops to take the time to wonder.
what befalls those that posses so much strife?
will they all just be falling asunder?

people will see the new postmodern age
while they all search for their own ambition
trying to find a place to call their stage
and to avoid following tradition

Another stanza that isn't written

and be true to all that we have confined
and the calming halt of our restless mind

Whatta you guys think?

My mom said it didn't really have a topic, and it didn't really need one because it's deep

Sure it is......

Oh well, please tell me what you think

Of both things

Does anybody know how to get acrylic paint off hands?

It would be much appreciated

Does anybody else side with me that if your half right, you deserve half a prize?

Dinosaurs

Dinosaurs are the best thing ever

Especially green ones with purple spots

And lop-sided mouths that look like they're always smiling

Those are the best of the dinosaurs, and the ones that should have survived the killing of the dinosaurs

Oh well, I still love them

Daily post

I will reach my goal of 100 posts, so I'll try to blog every day or 2 days

Nothing extremely exciting today happened

During school:
Reading Treasure Island, learning about Japan, taking a math test, scaring 6th graders in French, and making fun of Mrs. Ellis's cow lick in band

After school:
Track - Failed at hurdles after 10 minutes, then decided to go to long jump
There was Ian, Meggie, Austin, and Hannah left after 15 minutes, while Tish came over with 15 minutes left of track
Well, I fell down during one of my jumps
I jumped off the ground to hard, spun around, and landed in the dirt
The only thing that made it better was the fact that Ian and Meggie fell too
Meggie and I avoided getting high-fived because Austin and Ian had basically almost black hands from the dirt, but they did high-five us at least 3 times each

Babysitting:
Made $20 dollars, and now I have to wait untill 1 o'clock to go to bed

That concludes my Friday!!!

The 23rd post of all time

Yeah I realize that I haven't been blogging

or bloggin'
or posting
or blogitizing
or whatever you you want to call it

It's also optional to have blogitizing with no 'g', like in 'bloggin''

Well, in the past 11 days I haven't posted, these things have happened: (this is a long list)

1. I have become a fan of electronica music, and plan on becoming a super-emo night type of person
There's 2 bands that I like right now that are actually considered electroinca, and those are Owl City, and Nickosaurus!
Nickosaurus! includes the ! in it's name; I'm not that excited about it

2. School started back up
My last blog was during vacation so.....

3. I finished the 2nd season of Heroes, but now just about every spoiler thanks to (Liz, Maria, Shaelan, Lauren, ect.) some people that are in the parenthesis to the right

4. Track has started, and I die a little every day
I am a sprinter, and CAN NOT do distance
and a hurdler and long jumper but that doesn't play into the 'no distance' as much
Oh! I'm also meeting a bunch of 6th graders that are........
well, let's say 6th grade has changed from last year

5. Play preformance is coming up
14, 15, 16, mark your calenders
I play the random high schooler, also known as an ensamble
Then again I get to dance with Josiah, and then Deven will slit my troat
(Deven is going out with Josiah, *shudders*)
*Sigh*, Middle School drama!

6. It's the Middle School Dating Game!
That play is coming up to, and I get to be some has-been game show host whose wwwaaayyy over that hill
Around 80 or so
And Elise + Mrs. D yell a lot at me for NOT being 80, but I'm only 12 so I'm not even half-way up that hill

7. Swine Flu
Dum Dum Dum
The only good thing is that every one gets to make funny fake coughing sounds and pretend to have it
This will only last till one of us actually gets it and almost dies
But they did close the Elementary School for health reasons, so we're next!

8. Math team!
Over-achieving nerd club!
Yeah so I made the team and get to skip school to go to Portland on Tuesday, while everyone else gets to LEARN
hahahahaha
But they always have these really good cookies, so i just might live

9. Black and White Dance, on friday, 11 days, needs to go on that calender or your too
I might ask this guys, but it'll be akward and I'll probably fall down the stairs or something in the middle of asking him
But I like him, and I think he might like me
It's be some much less complicated is he asked me, cuz I'd just say yes and be done with it
Either way..........
stupid middle school

10. My new tradition
Write a smiley face on my hand everyday
Today it was on my knee, so it could go anywhere
Where will it be tomorrow?

11. Japan project
So, I'm doing Geisha people with Liz
and Mrs. M is all excited cuz nobody's ever done that before, so I'd like to get a good grade
and play my fair share so I don't have Liz do everything

12. My room is clean!!!!!!
Pretty self exsplanitory in the title
Took a few days and some late nights having OCD (those darn OCD specks), but it's clean!

Let's all leave it at that for now, cuz 13 is an unlucky # to have for lists

Oh! Neither of those eletronica bands are my currant favorite
The currant currant favorite currantly is Nevershoutnever!
Which like Nickosaurus!, has an ! in the name

I'll be bloggin' later, cuz I wann hit 100 blogs before the year/summers out!

:]

OMG that was the smiley face of #10

Look for it tomorrow!

Mr. Benito

On Sunday night, yesterday evening to be exact, I found myself bored.

So I took my camera, went outside, and was hoping to take some pictures with this camera that was now outside.

But I didn't know what to take pictures of....

My dad suggests, "Why don't you take your brother piggy bank right there and take pictures?"

And so it begun

I named this pig, without my brothers knowing, Mr. Benito.

Mainly because it sounds cool.

Here are some pictures from yesterday's photo shoot:

In order from left to right going down:

1. tanning salon
2. wood pile/mountain of kings
3. retouch on red paint job
4. OMG A CAT
5. poverty
6. stairs that look wayyyy to high to climb
7. sitting after a long day on the soft wavering grass
8. it's not like the grass :[
9. TREES ARE SO MUCH FUN

Sorry if this if out of order, but I think you could figure out when reading the captions
it was right when i typed this up

Sleepless

I don't really need to sleep

I know that sounds weird, but I only got 3 hours today, and I was fine

OK, so I need to sleep, it's just that I don't need that much to be able to get out of bed each morning

So here I am, at 10:33 pm, all hyped up. And I haven't even eaten anything since 7

I seems that whenever I'm happy, or excited, I don't feel as tired after

It's like it takes more energy to just sit there and tap your fingeres on the table

Maybe happiness is just its own energy

And I've been having these really good days constantly

So I just don't sleep more than 7 hours a night

I just can't with the thought of tomorrow

So I did, so I did

Yes, I changed my blog layout

It just looks less cluttered this way

Feel free to give me your feedback

Spring cleaning is just an unavoidable thing for me

Like little OCD specks are in the air or something

I finished my poems for LA

I tried really hard to avoid clichés, but it's poetry

Let's take it from the top

I had a good day today

A very good day today

I made people laugh

But that's not the only reason

There's so much more I don't really want to talk about

Spaghetti dinner, raffles, and thumbprint cookies

So Wednesday night was the spaghetti dinner at KES. My brother goes to that school, so we all had to go by default.

Basically, you show up, buy raffle tickets, eat some pasta the tastes like rubber, then eat at least 3 cookies to get the taste out of you mouth.

And ever since I was like 5, I've always won something from a raffle, no kidding.

One time, my sisters birthday was coming up, and I knew what I was going to make her. It would be sort-of a candy aquarium. With jell-o for water, and blueberries for rocks, some rock candy for coral, and a few Swedish fish, and a gummy shark or 2.

But I didn't have a fish bowl.

So there was a raffle at the library, for a fish bowl filled to the brim with Swedish fish. I bought a ticket, guessed how many were in there, and gave it to the librarian.

After that I went to camp for a week with my mom's family.

When I got back, my dad said the library called, and I had won the fish bowl. I think I was 2 numbers away, and 3 other kids guessed the same number I did. So they had to put all of our names in a hat, and they pulled out my name.

Raffles are my thing

Now back at the spaghetti dinner, there was all this cheesy stuff on the table, so I just put a ticket in each one. The next day they called, and said my dad had one a juggling kit, and I had one a dessert cook book.

Hardly a fish bowl filled with Swedish fish

So now, I am enjoying some thumbprint cookies (the ones with little chocolate kisses on them) that were made from the recipe in the dessert cook book.
